Climate Engagement Series 2

The second of our five climate engagement series was held on October 8, 2024, at Galatzan Recreation Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and on October 16, 2024, at MacArthur PK-8 School from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Climate Engagement Series 1

The first and second of five climate engagement series open houses were held on July 13, 2024, at Valle Bajo Rec Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and July 30, 2024, at Patriot Place Apartments from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Other Series Materials

The Chihuahuan Desert Climate Collaborative team gathered feedback from community members across El Paso and Hudspeth counties to identify areas of concern and impact and what the Regional Climate Action Plan should focus on. Community members, particularly residents of low-income and disadvantaged communities (LIDACs), were invited to two open houses at local community centers to celebrate the kick of the Climate Action Plan. In addition, the public was asked to provide their input through a bilingual survey.
