There are lots of ways for you to join in on this project. As we work through building the plan, there will be five touchpoints for you to get involved. Sign up for our project email list, follow us on Facebook and share our posts, and most importantly, come to our meetings – bring your family and friends too!
Each of our five touchpoints will consist of two public meetings, giving you ten chances to meet face-to-face with our team.
Can't make it to the meetings because of your busy schedule? No problem! We've got you covered with digital surveys that cover the same topics as our in-person meetings.

Come join us to kick-start and celebrate the Climate Action Plan! At this event, you'll have the chance to learn all about the project, including its main goals, milestones, and meet the team behind it.

Community Conversation #2 (Fall 2024)
Discover how the area's greenhouse gas emissions impact our community and discuss who is most vulnerable to future natural disasters. At this session, we want to hear from you and learn how climate change impacts affect your everyday experiences.

Community Conversation #3 (Early 2025)
Learn more about the regional greenhouse gas projections and reduction goals. During this session, we'll present the suggested greenhouse gas reduction targets for the future and initial ideas to reduce them.

Join us to explore the proposed actions that the region will take to reach the greenhouse gas reduction goals. We'll discuss strategies for both reducing regional emissions and adapting to climate change.

Community Conversation #5 (Early Summer 2025)
During this session, we'll offer a comprehensive overview of how each climate action could unfold, including the responsible implementation partner, timing of implementation, beneficiaries of each action, and more. We'll also discuss the expected outcomes for the region if all strategies are successfully implemented.
